The Power of Perseverance
A Virtual Event to Benefit CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort)
Support communities impacted by the Los Angeles fires

About the Campaign
The Power of Perseverance is a virtual fundraising effort that will take place on Wednesday, March 12 at 12 pm PST. It will benefit the Community Organized Relief Effort (CORE), a global humanitarian organization working to meet the growing needs of vulnerable communities worldwide.
Via a Zoom webinar, the powerful and impactful virtual conversation will feature experts in the fields of overcoming adversity, mental health and leadership.
Donations of any amount to CORE will grant access to the virtual event, and all funds raised will directly benefit those impacted by the recent Los Angeles area fires and the unprecedented damages those fires caused.
CORE is a global humanitarian organization working to meet the growing needs of vulnerable communities worldwide and immediately deployed an emergency response team to support those near the Los Angeles fires. With their headquarters in LA, they are actively serving residents living in many of the impacted areas through cash vouchers, hygiene kits, N95 masks, WiFi sources and charging stations at local shelters, debris kits, and so much more.
The Power of Perseverance has been organized by Aaron Golub, Rayna Golub, and Adam Mendler. Julia Stewart and Zach Vieth have been key advisors. Corporate sponsors include Jed Fuchs Productions and BSPOKE/LA.
CORE's Response
CORE deployed an emergency response team on day 1 – and will continue to support families impacted by the fires over the years-long journey to recovery. We are based in Los Angeles, and we are proud to serve the communities we know and love. CORE's active response includes:
— Distributing cash vouchers so people can purchase items to meet their unique and urgent needs.
— Providing thousands of free resources such as N95 masks, hygiene kits, and respiratory checks, as well as helping people with FEMA applications.
— Assisting local shelters by supplying WiFi, charging stations, and cellphone batteries so people can communicate with their loved ones and get critical updates and information.
— Setting up the CORE Kids Corner, a protected and fun space for children of all ages and their guardians to connect and play at the Pasadena shelter.
